Globally Recognized Deformed Bars
Deformed bar mills are located in Incheon (1.2 million tpy), Pohang (400,000
tpy) and Busan (120,000 tpy) producing D10mm to D51mm sizes in various
steel grades including high tensile strength grades. The total output
capability is 1.6 million tpy.
Energy efficient hot charging method is used, along with low temperature
rolling, 2 to 4 strand slitting line for high productivity and precise
rolling. Dongkuk rebars receive high accolades from domestic consumers,
and in 1986, Dongkuk achieved a world record for the highest steel output
per hour in its production line, even surpassing Japanese mills.
Dongkuk is continuously striving for maintaining its position as a global
leader in rebar production.
